Just a note on the HF 60 gallon... It is I believe the Exact Same Compressor to the Belaire 216V but at first glance its about 2-300 cheaper.. Well call around to anyplace local that carry's Belaire. There is a local place to me that has the 216V for 869. So thats only about 70 bucks more then...

So I am pretty indecisive.. It doesnt help that getting a larger compressor is moreso of a "because I wanna" and not an actual current need. If I continue with the DIY from what I already have I think the right pump for the job is the LPSS7538. Seems to fit the bill of the original correctly...

Yeah there is actually I think 4 or 5 different variety's of the rapidair system from rapidair. The price steps up quickly after that one though. Its 75-80 & the next up is like 160. The most expensive one I have seen was priced at 999 but I didnt even bother looking to see what was so special...

I have seen it on Northern Tool, Amazon & Home Depot.. Its fairly common. Lowes also has a cheaper version of their own. But it seems like its a bit too cheap with smaller lines & some plastic instead of aluminum. It does appear to be a more complete kit though.

Thanks for the ideals Citation, but at this point I think I am going to bit the bullet & just go with the 60 gallon Belaire (unless a good deal pops up, which I doubt considering that there aren't many decent smaller compressors & no other 2 stage 60 gallon besides the HF one that I am aware...

Ok.. I am at this point the more I think about it the more I want to stay with the shorter unit. It will probably be the Puma.. I am definitely overbuying on what I need with it. Should have lots of future proofing even with it only being 40 gallons.. I am holding off for a week or 2 on ordering...

Lots of "tend to" in that.. From what I can find and I have looked there are only 2 40 gallons in they market. The puma I am considering which is a shrunk down version of an 80 with the same motor and pump and everything else. And the other is a snap on which is way too expensive. I don't know...

That thing is a beast. Trying to stay compact and that thing is bigger in all ways and twice the weight of what I can get a similarly spec'd belair 60 gallon for. If I had no space issues and a forklift to move it I would jump on that.
