Choosing a lawnmower is driving me crazy

I bought a Honda on Saturday and I have to say it cuts really nice compared to my old cub cadet. Its not self propelled but rolls really easy with the bearings in the wheels compared to the old one.

    Recommendations for Canadian online retailers?

As MikeF2316 said be careful with Jccayer, Ive had issues with poor communication from them and something that was in stock on the website took 3 months to arrive. Not sure where your located but atlas machinery in Toronto is pretty good for power tools and woodworking tools and supplies.

30A 2 Pole Toggle Switch Wont Fit in 1-Gang Mudring

I made that mistake on a job last year, they don't make a single gang mud ring for those switches. What I ended up doing is cutting the drywall out and putting a 4x4 extension ring and then a single switch cover like above so it stuck out of the wall about an inch.

    Auger bits

Greenlee nail eaters or the Milwaukee ones arn't to bad. If you have a dremel with a little grinding disk you can sharpen them pretty easy just don't get too carried away. The one good things about everyone using nail guns now is the nails seem to be softer so they are a little easier on the bits.

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

I figured I would ask here if anyone has the 12v car adapter for the heated gear. I was wondering if it would work as an extension for the battery pack if you took the cigarette lighter piece off. My problem is problem is the battery is in a terrible spot for wearing an harness or tool belt.

    Consultation with ESA

I deal with esa pretty much every day and they are a pain in the ***. Write down your questions before hand. They wont tell you what to do but if you have questions they will give you some insight. It may be a little different with a homeowner but most arnt to bad to deal with.

    Bits for running wire?

all we use at work is the milwaukee auger or the greenlee nail eaters. The 18 inch are nice because you can stand on the floor and drill through the top plate.

    What meters do electricians use?

I buy all my guys fluke t-5 1000s. They seem to hold up the best. I have a t-5 1000, 323 an ideal clamp, a hioki cl amp and an old simpson. For a home owner my vote would be for a t-5 600 should do all you need.

    Generator for Off-grid Cabin 550sqft

Honda inverters are really quiet and very nice machines if you wanted to take it with you.Other wise I would go with a Generac or some other propane standby generator and just put it a ways from the cabin.

Using a champion 9000watt generator for whole house
