    13th annual GJ Secret Santa!

Ordered up some things for my victim today. Took quite a bit of digging through the net to track down some things that are on the victims list! Hopefully get the stuff here in the next week or so and ship it with some local goodies!

    Lets see your workbench

I have been looking all around for something like this, was hoping not to use the t-nuts for the very reason you gave. Thanks for the info!

    Jump pack decision

The antigravity units are solid units. I use mine to charge my phone from time to time to discharge the battery to hopefully extend the life of the unit battery. Mine still does about 5-6 jumps before needing recharge. I used it quite a bit in the car business here 3-4 years ago and it still...

    Tracksaw-Corded or Cordless

Pondered this decision as well. Ended up going corded. I have the festool ts55REQ and it has been phenomenal. You will definitely want dust collection as these spit quite a bit of sawdust. Being that you are already likely going to hook it up to a dust collector, the cord isn't getting in the...

    Drywall sanding

Guys, Looking at getting a Porter Cable Drywall sander. Going to remodel the entire house next year as well as mud and tape my shop, so thinking this will be a great addition to the tool fleet. Have any of you used one? Thoughts on it? As far as vac's go, don't really want to use my festool...

    Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT Nick's Two-Car Detached Vdub Garage

I have to agree with this statement. Building up a woodshop as well, did not realize how many situations the bandsaw is the perfect tool for the job. Use it significantly more than I was expecting to. Definitely an invaluable tool and more than worth the price.

    68" Epiq... Should I?

I get it's a rare color, but $4k more for the color yellow?? That box does look great, although the drawer configuration kinda ***** IMO.

    68" Epiq... Should I?

I would for sure spend some time looking at the used market. Quite a few good deals out there. Picked up a 68" Epiq a couple weeks ago in matte black in the 13 drawer configuration for $2150. Needed a wash and looks/performs like new. These boxes can be found significantly cheaper than $6500..

Above 1200 Sq/FT Out on Quaker Road

Big iron is always pretty interesting, saw that steiger last year. Crazy advanced during its time, pretty cool to see. Small world! I actually work for Acme Equipment, a division of Acme tools up in Forks. You would not believe the volume of tools that leave that pop up store. Had to work down...

    What did your garage cost

Built a 28x40x10 garage/shop here last year/this year. We did all the work ourselves minus concrete. Here are the stats: Concrete slab: 6" slab with thickened edge(10-12" edge) as well as apron and 12x14 pad next to garage ~$7200. Garage built with 2x4 walls, OSB Sheeting, vinyl siding...

    Rivet question on tin boat

3M 5200 sealant is a must for any hull repairs on a boat. Highly recommended. Just replaced the transom on our boat and that stuff works wonders.

    Milwaukee shockwave bit set inserts

Kinda off topic but...I have such a hard time to getting those bit insterts to rotate. Is there a trick to doing that?

    Table saw

There are quite a few options out there. Depends on what you will be using it for. I have a Bosch contractor saw currently and have used it the last 6 or so years. It works well for smaller stuff. Contractor saws are tough when cutting large material. Ripping plywood is a pain in the ****, as...

    Backyard Wood and Design Shop

This looks pretty dang interesting! Just built a shop to do the same thing! Subscribed to see what happens here! What kind of woodworking machinery do you have?

    Thoughts on 24x50

Definitely would recommend going 28' Wide. I had the same zoning restrictions when I built my garage. 1200 square feet max. Ended up building 28x40 and am incredibly happy with it. Why wouldn't you go with a 16' door vs a 12' door? Alot more room for taking equipment out of the garage while a...

Help me organize my shop please

Definitely need more wall storage, way too much stuff on the floor! Pics would also be better than a video, gives people a better opportunity to point out improvements instead of referring to a video.
