When your company decides they want to hire "professionals" to weld something instead

Re: When your company decides they want to hire "professionals" to weld something ins They could have allocated time during the work day to let our crew do it, but decided this was the better course, and then nobody inspected it before they left either... Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

1/2 fuel milwaukee vs 3/4 impact.

Bleeding brakes: Which tool will bleed all the air out???

ive bled brakes and done complete flushes easily with it. i **** all the old fluid out of the reservoir with a baster or something first. then use 5 or 6 pumps at each wheel, you get all new fluid and no air, quality system. takes maybe 10 minutes of actual fluid work to flush brakes completely...

Bleeding brakes: Which tool will bleed all the air out???

vote for pheonix brake bleeders for me. they are awesome, they have low and high end versions, lots of connectors making it easy to adapt, etc. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GRV800S/?tag=atomicindus08-20

Where do you use Taps & Dies most often?

lots of ways people do that, generally people will located the hole with a center pin, then bring the press up, put the tap or a tap handle that fits in there with the tap then come down and manually turn the head so its a perfectly straight tapping, no side tapping that can cause breaking of...

industrial maintenance techs not required tp supply own tools

pretty much this, locks are just deterrents when you work in a shop with saws, grinders, chain cutting snips and torches. if someone goes the extra mile to steal stuff, either the company makes good on getting you your stuff replaced with modern equivalents, or you leave and try to get your...

industrial maintenance techs not required tp supply own tools

you'll be able to get by with the bare minimum at first until you run into special situations. good sets of sockets 1/4 drive up to 1/2 drive. good ratchets, adapters for impacts (sae and metric, a lot of factories have equipment from the us and foreign) impact driver for self tapping screws...
