    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

lithium require a little more tech because you cannot overcharge or overdrain them or else they pretty much become bricks. if the tool isnt meant to run lithium, then theres a good chance you'll get one use out of it before overdrawing on the batteries, etc if you want to keep using it, have...

got some engineer pliers, have to say they are pretty awesome. they do seem to do an amazing job at grabbing damn near anything. had a few minutes at work so i took a second to test their claim on the package of "HRC 56". their website claims 60 +-2 HRC as well. i got some weird results, which...

Where would one buy Milwaukee m12 in Minneapolis

got this same one for 60 last year, and it had a free 3ah battery included as well. so it was an awesome deal. you'll be happy if you grab this one and are looking for generally light duty stuff, even though that impact drive was sinking 5/6x5" lags into studs no problem

you guys gotta stop talking vises up...

blacksmith owned, so hopefully the repair is good on it, looks like the clamping jaw broke completely off, it was reattached , although reattached about 1/8" to the right, it is straight. and the jaws are pinned in place with what looks like hammered wrought iron spikes/pins. i can only hope...

you guys gotta stop talking vises up...

Two small craftsman and a parker no.104 , the 104 was real beat up and needs work, and i mean like worthless to most people who own nice vises. I paid 20 because i need a vise like right now, itll hold and grip stuff, and it can be my beater for when i want to do something abusive with a vise...

you guys gotta stop talking vises up...

those were my thoughts, if they are homeowner duty i'd still grab a couple for random garage placement, still need a small one for my weld table. but no way i'd pay more than 20 for a little 4 inch jaw craftsman with use on it

you guys gotta stop talking vises up...

really depends for me, if i'm going to even drop 50 on a vise, it better be in good shape, not all dinged up from a hammer with good jaws. and at least be a 4-5 inch jaw. vises are so common, people spend 10 minutes on the internet and think they have gold. i just bought a bench grinder...

    quick transformer question

480 primary and 120/240 secondary. is there any issue with having a load on the 240 x1/x4 while still pulling a load on the x2/x3 and x4 for 120? assuming that both 240 and 120 loads combined are a max of 17.5 amps and the transformer is 40/20 amp rating for the kva and load outputs?
