    This not about your question but something to think about when installing a large, slow moving fan. If there are lights mounted above it, the blade movement can cause a strobe effect in the area below. Good luck with your project!

    Our local lumber yard has a spot out back that has mis-ordered / not picked up windows. You might ask at your local lumberyard. You might get lucky!
