    Guys, How the hell does something like this happen?!! Take a look at the worm screw on this 18" Williams adjustable. What the hell happened? Any thoughts on a remedy because we know what these cost to replace? Do we know how to get in touch with Williams, maybe for parts? Thanks Guys

    I saw a Utica catalog as well. As I said, unbranded. Thing is, the jaws don't seem like they were substantial enough for that sort of thing. I just don't know!

    Morning Fellas, Flea market find and I had to have them whether I knew their purpose or not! I rooted around the old tool catalogs for ideas, still I'm unsure. You think they're for glass, sheetmetal, canvas, cloth, fur or what? Notice the vague jaw serrations and that they're unbranded at 6"...

    Well, I finished cleaning and reassembled it. I didn't see any stamp on the inside of the till to designate the date. Judging from the conversation so far, I'm inclined to believe it's likely from the mid 80's. It's missing 3 drawer retainer clips. I wonder whether they're still available...hmm...
