I believe I have a Williams that is 1/4" drive, but I would have to check to make sure my memory is (somewhat) OK.

I've never seen a 1/4" WF-6. I've seen them advertised, but like a lot of the 9/32" drive WF tools, I think the sellers made a mistake. Most people aren't aware there were 9/32" drive tools.

The small family picture is my grandfather and grandmother before they got married. The picture would have been about 1917. They are the two on the far left. The one in front of the house is my mother-in-law's family. My MIL is the baby in the picture, so it would have been around 1908. It...

As long as we are including old floats, this one was taken in 1937. The girl at the top was the high school football queen, and later on my mother.

One of my 1/4" sets has a round hinge handle, and the other has the pebble style.

The large collection belonged to George (ROB) Robin. He lived in Bend, OR when he passed away. He was in his late 90's. His survivors wanted to sell the whole lot as a bundle, which was then bought by the people selling it on eBay.

It isn't due to my location. My Dad worked at Plomb Tool Co. He purchased all of them directly from Plomb.

I haven't bothered to take pictures of my ground off tools. However, I did get a couple of pictures of the tools I gave to my nephew. He was very close to my Dad. All of the tools in the two boxes were my Dad's and had the logos ground off (except the 1/4" set).

That to me is a true "lawsuit" tool. The other grind offs started before the major lawsuit. I had tools of my Dad's that he got in 1945 that were grind offs.
