Here's Belle, my 16 year old Brittany. Hunted grouse, pheasant, and quail over her for years. Many very happy memories! Now arthritis, cataracts, and deafness keep her home and close at my side. The days in the field may be over, but she's still a great companion.

The paint (heck even the unfinished white drywall) made a world of difference over the old brown pegboard and masonite. I will be happy if I never see another sheet of pegboard as long as I live.

From experience - always best to have your own DD on the bench side. I always have the keys for the 'stang in my pocket, but end up doing a scavenger hunt to find the keys to the wife's HHR if I want to move it.

I have a 2007 Chevy HHR and a 2011 Ford Mustang that fit with plenty of room to spare as long as you don't have to open the passenger door on the right hand vehicle. I snuggle the right hand car (ussually the Mustang) against the workbench, and even with the huge doors on it, I have no problem...

I've made a bit more progress. Found some cabinets on CL for $75 bucks and painted them the same red as the wall stripe. Still need to come up with a benchtop... wouldn't you know the base cabinets are 8 ft 2 in long! Kinda eliminates any kind of standard 8 foot long surface material! Also...

Thanks for the info. I'll check out the link and do some more research. The SIKA stuff is what I purchased for the big crack. Maybe not the best thing for the job. Probably not going to try this until spring, unless the products you are suggesting are suitable for use at low temps.

Typically you do the ceiling first so the wall helps hold up the edge of ceiling. However, its not critical and will work in the opposite order.
