    ******'s comeback from the setback

It wasn't quite as hot today as it has been, so I finally talked myself into getting out there and digging up the conduit. As it turns out, that second conduit I found was the one that went to the old garage, and as you can see, the conduit wasn't a straight shot. I still have no Idea what the...

    ******'s comeback from the setback

Yea, I'm ready for some smooth road! The way I look at it is, there is nothing I can do to change it. All I can do is react to it. If I react poorly, all it does it make things harder on me. Nothing has changed either way, so just try to move forward. It isn't always easy, but what is...

    ******'s comeback from the setback

So now, on top of dealing with the fire stuff I have another project, that was never supposed to be a project. But that's not all! About a month before the '32 incident, I bought a '64 F100 4x4. With my dad moving out of state and taking his truck with him, I no longer had access to a truck. I...

    ******'s comeback from the setback

Some time passes, and grandpa is not doing so well. It is decided that he is going to go live out the remainder of his days with my Uncle in Texas. So, my grandpas house is going to be sold, and I need to get all my stuff out of there. The only place I have is my parents, so I buy a temporary...

    ******'s comeback from the setback

As stated in the last post, the '23 Model T and the '36 3w have a bit of a story to them, So here it goes. I was searching for an engine for the Model A project, and I knew I wanted a 331 Cadillac in it, so the search was on. I ended up finding the Model T roadster as a project on craigslist...

    ******'s comeback from the setback

I have been doing some other stuff and haven't been able to get around to digging. I also haven't been all that excited to get to digging in the heat. But, I did set up a temporary above ground pool so I can cool off a bit in-between working outside. I hired the college kid with the backhoe to...

    ******'s comeback from the setback

Yes, I am using something like that, and it's still taking forever. (It was loaned to me, and I wasn't sure what to call it.) I don't have any demolition to do, the state has already done a debris removal. There is a local college kid who has a tiny little backhoe that does trenching and...

    ******'s comeback from the setback

I didn't have the chance to dig last weekend, and only had a little bit of time this weekend. The ground there is so hard packed it's really tough to dig. I made it about 2 feet in 2 hours using a hammer shovel. So, I need to figure something else out, as I simply don't have the time for...

    ******'s comeback from the setback

I guess I'm in for some more digging this weekend. I'll let you guys know how it turns out. On another note, I am happy to announce that I received an email today saying that my project has been approved by Building and Safety.

    ******'s comeback from the setback

Thank you. I can't wait till I'm posting about actually building the garage! If I were to have to dig to where the electrical came out to the garage before, I'd have to dig about 45-50 feet, and if I were to dig until I was sure one was going to the neighbors house, I would have to dig a...

    ******'s comeback from the setback

I haven't been on here for a while, because unfortunately, I have no updates. I am currently in Permit Hell, but hopefully things will happen in the near future. But, in the meantime, maybe someone can offer some insight to what I'm dealing with currently. I'll try to keep the description as...

    ******'s comeback from the setback

Well, I have decided on a building, and put a deposit on it. So, Hopefully it won't be too long before I have some actual progress. So, now I am starting the permit process, which I hope will go pretty quickly. My permits are supposed to be expedited since I was affected by wildfire.

    ******'s comeback from the setback

Thank you guys for the kind words. I figure I've gotta handle it no matter what, so I may as well look at it very matter of factually and make it easier on myself. What's done is done, so just gotta march forward. Money outside of the garage fund is a bit tight right now, so things are a...

    ******'s comeback from the setback

Well, I haven't updated in quite a while because there has been nothing to update unfortunately. After waiting for a while for my debris removal, I called to get an update after I had seen them doing it at other properties around me when they said I was supposed to be the first house. That's...

If nobody knows of a reproduction badge, are there people that would be interested in them if I were to have them made?

Does anyone know a source for a reproduction badge with this logo? I want to restore this toolbox and I would like to replace the badge if it's available somewhere.

    ******'s comeback from the setback

Also, I did have to modify my original plan for the garage due to local regulations. Anything over 1000 sq ft needs a sprinkler system, and a Fire Department use only water tank that has to be a minimum of 7,500 gal. That would eat up alot of my insurance money, so I can't do that...
