    Only one bulb works in 4 ft fluorescent light?

    I have two four foot flourescent light fixtures. In both of them only one bulb works. The bulb is ok. If i switch the bulbs in the fixtures, same result. Now if i take the cover off, there is only one ballast. Is it possible for the ballast to go half bad?

    Dumb floor jack question

    try bleeding the jack? My aluminum 2.5ton jack lifted from vertical all the way to horizontal, until i stored it vertical for a day or so, then it would only pump at the last 20 degrees of travel.
