When have you broken a craftsman tool?

Overall it seems that most of broken stories I have read were due to abuse or just sheer not using the right tool for the job. Does anyone know of a definitive list of what's going to continue being produced in the US of A vs what's going to Chinese produced?

Would those by chance have been steel bolts inside an aluminum head and block? Seizing tends to happen in instances like that.

When I do timing belt changes on my ducatis, the easiest method is making marks on the cam gears and crank gear with a paint pen so that it marks the gear and the corresponding tooth of the belt. Then count the number of empty teeth between the paint marks and mark the new belt the exact same...

    New guy from Dallas

I realized I didn't actually post here in the introductions. I'm 20, and my garage is used to wrench on things from my truck to my motorcycles. I've been a member for a while but never really got around to posting anything. Closed on my house in January so the first thing I started getting put...

    My new garage work space

Added in some shelves and a table I built for working on the bikes. On my list is the floor because stuff is always ending up on the floor, oil, gas, gear oil, brake fluid, etc. Epoxy coat will eventually get done but not right away. Just thought I would share. Thanks!

    My new garage work space

My girlfriend and I just recent purchased our first house. She was excited to have a house, I was excited to have a garage of my own. I previously shared with my dad whom I love to death but is not the neatest worker I have ever known. Now it's nothing crazy fancy. I prefer the simplistic...
