Just head back from Aquamoose. He too was unable to repair my unit with replacement parts. Glad to know it isn't me, sad that I spent $100 on shipping to get a replacement.

    Soda Blasting Media

Used in a CH siphon blaster and it worked out really well. at $6.99/50lbs, it is by far the cheapest media I've found. Just be sure that what you are getting is small enough to not clog the gun. I got two bags, one medium and one rough ground, the latter being too big. As a bonus, this stuff...

Awesome! I've got a siphon blaster as well, so I'll give it a shot. I've been thinking about rigging a bucket to my palm sander to keep the media agitated and aid pickup.

I know the standard is sodium bicarbonate, but I am unable to find it in bulk. I can however, get Calcium Bicarbonate from TSC for $3/50lbs. The hardness is 3 on the Mohs scale compared to 2.5 for sodium bicarbonate, so I don't think that will be a problem. I'm looking to blast some aluminum...

10.8ohms torch tip to ground clamp. Open from torch to case ground. Open from clamp to case ground. I did check under the insulation and it is not shorted. I did disconnect the temp sensor at the board, not desolder the sensor.

Light stays lit until I turn off the power and turn on again. Fan comes on immediately on power. Resistance goes to open(capacitor charging?) when probed. I disconnected the sensor at the board and it is open.

I tried mine out tonight for the first time. I turn it on, and get the pilot arc, but when I cut, the OC light comes on quickly. I checked the ground and it is good. I was able to get about a 10 second cut, but that is the best I could manage. thoughts?

Ever do something so stupid you wonder if you should be left unsupervised?

My 8th grade math teacher related this one to me: When he was in chemistry class in high school, they were reviewing the distillation of alcohol. The teacher had a large still setup on the front bench which was distilling through the class. At the end of the class, he had a small beaker of...
