    Not familar with Maine winters or your space to access. Blower can shoot ins. 10 to 20 feet which I would think would be a hell of a lot easier than rolls. Tracks

    Nothing wrong with "Getting your bang for your buck" have you considered blown- celluose? Do the math, you could probably get R-50 for the same price as kraft faced rolls. I don't think you would regret too much insulation. Vapor barrier to the warm side. Tracks

    I am using "Great Stuff" to fill some small voids with foam insulation. I followed directions but only able to get 1/2 out of the can. I have used this product for years, so did I just a bad batch?? Anyone have this problem??? Thanks Tracks

    Question about how long a propane tank should last...

    Where in the garage do you spend ? If it's around just your work bench, you just put a few sheets and hang some 4 mil plastic from ceiling. Screw in 4x8 sheets in ceiling. When you leave, just take it down & sell it. A small space would not require a large heater. Tracks

    Successful mice control???

    Spayed barn cat is my choice. Mice like my pickup, tried a bar of Irish Spring ,mice ate the damn soap. You need to feed the cat a little each day or they will run off. A well fed cat will still hunt critters. Bottom line Cats are better than giving mice soap enema's Tracks

    If you used same material on the roof, wouldn't just use paint, designed for a roof? Silver come to mind. If you use chemicals, just watch out for fumes. Stay Safe.

    Foam sheets store in drafty old barn, so I never considered smell!! So I think under concrete would be best use of this stuff. Thanks to all who replied!!!!!!!!! Thats why I love this fourm, it can keep you from making mistakes!! Tracks

    Friend gave me some foam board, it was stacked away from garage that burned. It is still a full 4" just darkned. Will it still retain most of its insulation ? I think its rated at R-5 per inch. Thanks Tracks
