Is this heat pump too big for my shop?

I just got a message back from the company that removed it from service. They say that the freon was pumped down into the unit and it is full. This seems like a decent deal.. assuming it lasts even a few years..

Is this heat pump too big for my shop?

I'll be doing some of it myself, but I'll hire someone to sweat on the copper lines and everything refrigerant related. The R22 does make me nervous, how many lbs of refrigerant would a unit this size hold? I just cant afford thousands of dollars for a new 410a system.

Is this heat pump too big for my shop?

I found this heat pump locally and it would seem to be a pretty good deal. The guy claims that it was professionally removed and that the refrigerant was pumped down into the unit. When I asked why it was replaced, he said that the defrost cycle was loud in the wintertime and kept his wife awake...

Suggestions on my 30x50 lighting plan

It's the bathroom. In that render it's a sink mounted to the wall. I think it will wind up being a stainless freestanding sink. Right now the plan is to frame in the walls to the wall girt at about 7' and plywood the interior. Cabinets are a possibility, I also considered a small mezzanine. I...

Found some cheap 4' T8's on Craigslist - Suggestions on how to hang them?

Here's the first layout I came up with: The blue lights represent the main shop lights at 11 feet and the red light represents the light in the bathroom at 8'. By my calculations, this comes out to about 110 lumen per sq. ft. As soon as I get the layout nailed down, I would like to create at...

Found some cheap 4' T8's on Craigslist - Suggestions on how to hang them?

Alright so I found these fluorescent lights for $8 each on craigslist.. from the description in the ad I thought they were 4', 2 lamp T8's with bulbs and plastic covers. When I got there, they were actually 4 lamp fixtures that would go in a dropped ceiling.. This threw me for a loop as I...

Plumbing question - need opinions please

LOL, well thats one option. Thanks for all the info guys.. I've already bought the pipe so re-sizing really isn't an option at this point. From what reading I've done, larger pipe is for some reason more forgiving about slope. It is sch40 Solid Core, so hopefully that will help with the...

This will be for a toilet only....the sink being just grey water will just run out on the ground. The only thing I'm really worried about are solids. The bathroom won't get used all that much though.. maybe I can find an old school toilet with a 3-5gal flush
