    so fit my ever growing needs of wrenches, i take a piece of wood cut lines into them at 35 degrees. i then use a number/letter punch and mark them as required. nice and easy with no fuss.

    I dont like using nicad batteries mainly because of the memory effect. im not sure if you could find a replacement battery to suit your impact but in a li-ion battery. im sure it can be done because ive managed to find li-ion batteries for my dewalt/makita cordless tools that were originally nicad.

    would it be an offense to wire brush it, clean it up, and take it to the display cabinet? i have a bad habit of cleaning up all my tools so that they look almost like the day it rolled off the production line

    one click is all that is required. i dont retighten to double check because i trust my torque wrench (deflecting beam vs micrometer).

    yes i own one, but it doesnt get used very often. however, if i ever need one at least i know i wont have to run to my local hardware store wasting time.

    not sure if it has been mentioned, but what about clay bar? you should be doing it once a year on your car, so why not on your toolbox?

    Solder or Crimp?

    crimp, a dash of solder and heatshrink on the connector. i hate doing double work due to shoddy workmanship. so i dont mind taking the extra 10mins to do it right.
