    HF 5 drawer copy-cat?

Looks exactly like the one from HF except that it's black. In fact, that Drawer Lock sticker is identifical. My guess is that it's made by the same company. Northern Tool carries some of the same stuff as HF, so it's not that surprising.

Lets see your Tool Carts/Service Carts

I like the idea of having a magnetic tool holder on the lid, but I don't really want to drill any holes. I might stop by HF later today and see if they have any magnets available that I could stick on the lid, then stick the magnetic tool bars to them.

What's everyone using to store hex bits?

Thanks for all the replies. I've seen the Mechanics Time Savers ones, but they are kind of expensive for what you get. I'm kind of surprised that more manufacturers don't make them or that HF doesn't carry a cheap Chinese-made version. I will consider making my own. I do have some scrap...

What's everyone using to store hex bits?

I finally got around to moving my Craftsman mechanics set into my tool cart. I purchased socket organizers for the sockets and placed the ratchets into the hanging holes. The problem I'm having now is where to put all the hex bits. I checked Sears and Harbor Freight, but it seems that they...

Lets see your Tool Carts/Service Carts

How did you mount the magnetic tool holders onto the top? Did you drill holes and bolt them to the top? I bought the magnets thinking they would just stick to the top, but I didn't realize that they had a metal bracket attached to the back of them that was too thick for that.

    Lowes Coupon

Right... and some will even give you 10% just by asking for it. I was at a HD a while back with my sister and brother-in-law to get them a gas grill as a wedding present. While we were checking out, I starting chit-chatting with the cashier and casually asked if she could do anything about the...

I also see another new battery available from Craftsman... do you know what the difference is between this one and the other one I posted?

    CraftsmanC3 19.2-volt Cordless Impact Wrench 17090

Yes, the new batteries should work with any of their 19.2V tools.

    CraftsmanC3 19.2-volt Cordless Impact Wrench 17090

How long have you had them? Also, how much longer do the full size batteries last compared to the compact ones?

    CraftsmanC3 19.2-volt Cordless Impact Wrench 17090

I've never used the older Craftsman Li-Ion batteries before... was there a problem with them? I think the Sears near me still has some of the old ones available (clearance priced).

    CraftsmanC3 19.2-volt Cordless Impact Wrench 17090

That's probably what my problem is. I bought one of these earlier this year and found that it wasn't able to remove the nut holding the blade on my mower deck, but I was using the NiCd battery that came with it (I got the kit that came with the battery and charger). I've got quite a few 19.2V...

Insulate roof, keep trusses exposed? Pics!

I'm pretty sure that you don't want to run the insulation directly against the roof. You want to have some sort of venting for carbon monoxide... as well as to prevent moisture from getting trapped.

    Harbor Freight Coupon Thread

It is currently on sale for $389.99. You can try bringing an expired coupon in... some people have had luck with them accepting them. Otherwise, if you can wait, I'm sure there'll be coupons for it again soon.

What do I need a Dremel© tool for?

When I replaced the toilet in my mother's house, I used my rotary tool to cut the bolts after installing it as the bolts stuck up too high from the floor. It worked great (went through quite a few cutting discs though), but it was a bit of a pain to clean up all the metal shavings. I've also...
