that's what I have, I like them (mine might be the 3/4 version) I don't think the wall mntd panel can control more than one door, but iirc the remotes can be programmed to do so...

yep, no absolutes, only degrees or order of magnitudes... a fixture with a gasketed diffuser will get less fouled... 'no smoking' rules have helped a lot too :D

you are assuming and mistaken... actual results and operating conditions favor diffusers... a bare tube will foul the same as a diffuser and the light output is diminished the same, it can be proven mathematically, but trust me, it does... maybe worse because the hi temp will bake the crud on...

and back on topic...if you calculate 100 lamp lumens/ft^2, you better multiple that by ~0.6 to get usable/measurable actual work surface fc (or lumen per sq ft)...

exactly :D if you integrate the output of a bare bulb and a diffused bulb, the total lumens will be ~the same...the diffuser will 'average out' the level exactly the heat is efficiency losses of the bulb, ballast, etc. NOT the light rays radiating energy onto surfaces (at least in the spectrum...

this is true, they get dirty, the bulbs age, etc. they are usually good for 10 years or so, depending on type and initial quality...same thing happens to ceiling tiles, and reflectivity of the light is as important parmeter as almost anything else... but generally you can wipe the diffuser...

I ran 2 scenarios today: 100 x 100 ft room, 9' ceiling, normal reflectivity.... one with 4 x 34W bare fixture with wrap-around one with 4 x 34W w/diffuser ~40 fc 80 fixtures bare, 82 with diffusers...~2% difference the room with diffusers was much more evenly lit without the wrap-around it took...

each has advantages, forced air vs radiant slab forced air, fast response and ventilation blowing air out can be mitigated by balancing for slightly positive pressure all the hot air can't rush out, replaced by cold...what happens is some escapes but is made up by the AHU as it does...even with...

the exploded parts list/drawing I have describes it as a 'govenor'... Item 25, NR 36 113, Housing, Govenor... which imho is a more appropriate description it keeps a constant load on the machine when air demand varies it also, as you said, allows the machine to start unloaded

the thing on the side is a cetrifugal govenor can you measure the pulley diameter? and estimate the bore(s) diameter (2 of them, 2 stage)
