    Craftsman socket rails

I have a set of socket rails for sale that are craftsman branded. I have all the different sizes listed and they are gently used. I am asking $27.50 for the set or obo. I can probably fit everything in a flat rate box (medium size) or I can calculate shipping on where you're located. I accept...

    Best $40 flashlight

Costco has a nice set we picked up tonight for $25 that is 2 lights that use 3 C cell batteries. I was really surprised how bright they were for $25. They are duracell branded lights There were smaller ones that were $15 for 3 lights. About the size of a surefire g2. Hopefully they hold up. I...

    Rapidair ,air piping system

I have a fairly normal size 2 car garage and have tossed around the idea of the Rapidair kit. I'm just wanting to put the compressor in a corner & run a couple of drops near the front of the garage. For $100 I can't find any better way to do this. Add a couple of the Milton V style quick...

    Air Compressor: Size or portability?

I got the biggest one that would work on 120v (as my garage has no 220). It was cheaper to go that route than to rewire things and add 220. My garage is detached and I'm sure I'd need a lot of upgrades to get the 220. Future wise I will add it at some point if I still live in the same house...

Superglue, Gorilla Glue: Do they ever work more than once?

I use a bottle of this stuff (gorilla glue) for everything. The newest tubes have a better cap system. You're suppose to squeeze all the air out I think after you open it and put the cap on tight. I've had good luck doing that as well as keeping them in a tool box drawer that stays cool. I...

Air hose, what high flow fittings will work?

Hey guys, I have one of these air hoses "Speedaire 3/8" x 50 ft Hybrid Polymer Air Hose" which I believe has 1/4 npt fittings on each end. I am wanting to get fittings for my air tools & the air hose to accept 3/8 couplers (so more flow to my tools). Will these work for this hose...

Craftsman 5.8cfm @ 90psi need help in impact wrench choice

It's all the way open. I'm running whatever tools I use at 135psi or 150psi I can't remember off the top of my head. I did buy some home depot branded air tool oil. I'll try to put a generous amount into it and give it a second try before using it as a paper weight. I do put 1-2 drops of...

Craftsman 5.8cfm @ 90psi need help in impact wrench choice

Thanks guys for the help. I have a 25ft speedaire? Hose. Similar to a flexzilla hose that is 3/8. I tried today and it would take lug nuts off but at a snails pace. I just dot have the feeling the gun works right. The air ratchet works fine as that will zip small nuts right off but I can sit...

Today Only!! Gladiator Premier 30" Wall Gear Box $99

These were plus tax for me here in CA plus $75 to deliver (sears right now they are $179.99). What a funky site, I surely don't need someone to deliver them and unbox etc... like the site is trying to imply. If you live near a dock where it says you can just go and pick up they are a pretty...

    gun safe questions

I ended up with a liberty safe a year ago. It was a little over $2000 delivered. I have ammo and guns in it and with the rise of gun prices I figuered it was cheap insurance. I looked at it as a cry once pay once purchase My best advice is buy the biggest one you can fit and afford. You will...

Best way to remove layers of paint off of bathroom wall tiles?

Get a steam cleaner. I had a drip here and there on our new bathroom floor and the steam cleaner took it right off. I was trying all kinds of stupid things to get the paint off the grout and tiles. It was a Mcoullough? steam cleaner. Was maybe $100 but has many other uses too (like...

Anyone used the air line kit from Eastwood?

There is also the kits from rapidair? That seem more durable then the harbor freight kits. I have considered this as their basic kit gives you 2 drops. I think eBay and most sites it's right around $100. Though copper isn't that much more expensive. Just a hassle sweating things together.

How to thank a great neighbor???

My vote is food. Everyone loves a free or heavily discounted meal somewhere. We always get gift cards around the holidays or birthdays but they all sit in the wires purse except the food ones, they always go first and fast.

Just passed inspection on my 200amp service upgrade..

This is a question for the op, but roughly what did it run you to do this? Only reason I ask is our home (also in CA) is in due need of an electrical panel upgrade and we have a electrician that can help us out. I just need to get a sub-panel to the garage as ours is detached but it shouldn't...

    Craftsman coupon price match policy?

Do you guys think that they would price match what I paid for it before I got the percentage off? Online now it's 15% off of what it was on sale for when I bought it. It's in essence now 65% off of the original price. I don't think that they would do it because they already gave me a steep...

    Craftsman coupon price match policy?

That was what we got to in the end. It's such a stupid rebate and makes zero sense. It's like you buy it at $1399 and pay tax on that & get the giftcards back OR just pay $699 + tax and no gift cards. We went back and fourth on how can they sell something to me at regular price when it's on...

    Craftsman coupon price match policy?

Hey guys, So last week while looking at tool boxes at sears I noticed that they had a crazy rebate for tool storage. It says that they will give you 100% of the difference of the regular vs. sale price + 10% more off. Sounds too good to be true right? I've spent a total of 2 hours in Sears...

How to protect driveway from oil drips

Your output shaft seal is toast, new ones are easy and cheap to replace. Mine went on my Chevy pick up and in 30 minutes had a new one up there. Less than $30 with tools and the seal. Otherwise the drip pan is the best idea. They are pretty cheap too, less than $15 and will last years and years.
