Looking to purchase affordable rotary (quiet) air compressor. What do you think of this model?

So far so good. I have it all hooked up, finally, but haven't been able to give it a good workout yet, like sandblasting.

Any build or use Goodman / Williams Atmospheric Forge & heat treat oven?

I removed 4 panels from mold - pretty happy with how they turned out. Cement has fine, strong finish. A few wrinkle marks from the heavy plastic but not bad.

Top & bottom channels, expanded sheet metal sides. Expanded metal from onlinemetals.com. Two channels were laser cut from 1/4 plate and bent to print. Great deal for a little over $100 bucks including materials. http://lofstromweldingandfabrication.com/

Well, I decided to build it. Cast up side panels today. Two of the center dividers are cut at 30 degree angle, so all 4 panels have one angled edge. Used 5/4 pine for edges, and ripped in half for non angled pieces. Built on 2x4 sheet of melamine with plastic over it. I covered the edges of the...

I'm thinking about building a propane forge & heat treating oven. I purchased a book on building the Goodman / Holmes model. No fan, just propane, reaches 2500 degrees. If anyone has any experience with this build I'd love to hear about it. Thanks, Bryan

Wire Gauge to Add 220V to Garage?

Yes. Way cheaper! And yes, part only fits GE powermark panels. Aluminum wire is fine, you just use a slightly larger size per code chart.

Wire Gauge to Add 220V to Garage?

It allows you to run a subpanel off your existing panel by snapping it into place of two breakers. It extends far enough that it takes up the opposing two spaces, 4 spaces total. It works, I have it install in my GE panel now.

    **** Tools

I bought a couple 3/8 Craftsman socket sets for my truck at Ace hardware recently. Both rachets locked up after a few minutes of light use. Too bad. Craftsman served me well most of my life. Afraid to buy it now.
