I saw my snap on guy's truck parked @ his house in Woodstock,VA. Anyone seeing tool trucks out there?

I found 3 different sets of Mayhew brand punches on display. All USA made. It seems like 80% or more of TSC's hand tools are Chinese. So it really throws me for a loop when I find something American made. I understand Mayhew is a fairly well - respected brand on garage journal.

Does anyone have a favorite pair of needle nose or slip-joints that are fairly inexpensive but yet work fairly decent? I'm sure it's been hashed over before. I do have some nicer pliers but I'm scared I'll lose them.

I noticed for a 19 mm single wrench the price difference was $10 between smooth open end versus anti - slip. The pawnshop had both versions in stock - same brand. Just curious what the rest of you see in the used hand tool market?

My brother bought a pair of pliers off the snap on truck. 6 " flank drive slip joint pliers. You can shear rusty bolts off with them. You just follow the arrow on the pliers. Does snap on make an 8" version? Thank you for your time.

Snap On is marketing a 3/4" spring-wound ratchet type hand tool for $1600-$1700. You can use a cheater pipe on it. Does anyone ever use something like this? Sorry I don't have any pics. But I saw it on the snap on truck this week. Thank you for your time.
