So it's time for a new drill bit set. My current sets are either missing sizes or have bent and dull bits. I mainly work with steel. What's a good strong drill bit set to purchase without having to break the bank?
Does anyone have a home depot or lowes kit shed? These are under $1000 and seem decent. I know they aren't built as nice as some sheds and don't use 16" on center studs. I just need a place to the lawn mower, snowblower, garden tools, and kids toys.
I bought a larger belt sander so I'm selling this one which i was going to mount on a stand with a motor. i will sell the whole unit or parts off of it. PM me with what you need and make an offer.
So I did a little organizing yesterday and wanted to share my solution to storing pry bars. It's really been bothering me not having a proper place to store my pry bars and having them random in 5 gallon buckets. So I remember having a set of closet tie racks kicking around. They work perfect...

So I got this sign with steel base and aluminum post for free. I want to use the base for a tool stand. And I thought maybe I can use the aluminum post to add some lighting under the garage door when it's open. It's very dark on the workbench near that door and I need lighting. The post weights...
Hi all. I've been a member for a while now and mostly active in the vintage tool section of this board. I wanted to let everyone know that I was just given the opportunity to sell off my companies used heavy equipment. Please PM me if you are a business interested in buying any used equipment...
I just wanted to share a bench grinder I finished restoring.
Before
After
I went thru the whole grinder. Replaced the power cord. Rebuilt the on/off switch. Stripped all the paint before priming, painting it cobalt blue metallic, and clearing over.
What are these fasteners called. I'm restoring an old grinder and these hold on the badge.
Long story short, I lost one and I need to find a replacement.
So I bought these 3 of reflectors at a garage sale for $10 total. I have no idea what I need to get to connect them to a light bulb socket.
The reflectors are 10.5" diameter wide by 3.5" tall. The hole at the top is 1-7/8" in diameter. A standard light bulb socket like the one in the picture...
