My HF generator specifies a sealed lead acid battery. I believe HF sells these batteries in the store. They didn't back in 2013 when I bought the generator. Most likely what your gens mfgr recommends as well.

I pseudo cleaned up the mess in the garage near the tool boxes and workbench, attached the Hercules cordless band saw to the stand, and took my Daytona 3 ton extended jack out of the box. All in all I feel like I accomplished something, so I'm happy. Can't wait until we "finish the garage"...

New coils solved the misfire issue. Is there a way to test old coils to see which one(s) were bad?

The coils are relatively easy to get to...same with the plugs.
