Last night I rebuilt 2 pop-up canopies. Ran out of canopy parts....who says hoarding doesn't have its benefits. Now I need to be on the lookout for broken canopies at the remaining softball tournaments and on trash day.
Who knew, after crappy work days, that some small accomplishments are...
When I finished the basement in my old house, I used regular insulation in the interior walls. There was a wall between the 'bedroom' and the HVAC closet and you could not hear the HVAC running, except for the air noise from the ducts.
The other day I found "most" of a newer. Aluminum pipe wrench. The handle was busted off and no where to be found.
Next time I get out for a morning walk, I'll snap a picture if it's still on the stump I set it on.
Garage:
Oil change on the Edge, check brakes & surrounding stuff, swapped out the swollen lug nuts for White Knight solid chrome ones....new tires Thursday.
Shed:
Pulled the snow blower attachment off the tractor and installed the mower deck with new blades.
Removed the recently broken (Friday night) garage door torsion spring. Apparently, since these are so dangerous for the common person, none of the box stores carry them. Put in an electronic request for quote to supply and replace the spring from the company that installed the doors 10 years...
I wanted it to be taller (& wider compared to the other one they had) for using with my F250 and for washing the roofs on the Edge and Explorers.
I bought the S-jaws because they were interesting, looked cool and were $5 off.
