Hey guys, I acquired an old salvage yard a few years ago....

Something like this? It is at my back door. The mat is at least 50 years old.

    Artisan Tools sold by Gambles

Wow!!! I must have been living under a rock for most of my life. I had no idea that Artisan was a Gamble's brand. I don't have any Artisan hand tools but I do have a Gamble's lawnmower. It came with the house that I bought 25 years ago. I bought a new mower when I bought the house because...

Interchangeable jaws for a Wilton vise.

Wow, that's an excellent quick change jaw system. I really like it. I'll offer a tip for simpler measurement of bolt spacing with digital calipers: Measure the bolt diameter. Zero the calipers to the bolt diameter. Measure across the outside of the two bolts. You now have the center to center...

bit storage, what do you all use?

The Ascend tray works well. Dense storage - It holds alot of bits in a small area without making it difficult to put my fat fingers around a single bit. It holds bits so they don't fall out but are not difficult to remove. I would buy it again. The rest of their storage organization system...

What do you think of my Proto handle??

That's a great combination. The ratcheting action on those old Proto ratchets are as smooth as silk, but I hate knurled handles. The amber handle solves that problem and looks great!

    Bearing puller

The Snappy bearing separators are just about bulletproof. Unfortunately, they are also pricey. The Proto separators that I have are very good and cost way less money.

bit storage, what do you all use?

I use a few different products for different situations. This is made by Ernst and holds my main set in my tool box. This came from Ascend Tools and is for my overflow: This Snap-on blow molded container is one of my portable boxes: I may have to convert to a pistol ammo box like KnurledNut...

Is there a Harbor Freight tool truck yet ?

Uh, that's not cosmoline. It's the stench of prematurely rotting screwdriver handles.

    Bowden Clip Installer and Remover

Well . . . I'm stumped. Like you, I assume that it's for R&R of the retainer for some sort of Bowden cable. Unfortunately, I have no idea what the specific application is.

Craigslist Ad - Rustoleum Hammered Verde Green Spray Paint $40 Per Can

Rustoleum hammered Deep Green is a little darker than Powermatic green. A close match can be easily mixed by adding about 15-20% silver Rustoleum. I mixed 8 parts Deep Green (P/N 7211502) with 1.5 parts Rustoleum Stainless Steel (P/N 247963). Please be aware that this mix may lay down smooth...

Smallest Head 1/4" Ratchet (besides Ko-Ken)?

Wow!!! I doubt that there is anything thinner than the Oxwall that four.cycle posted. Just for reference, my Omega roller ratchet has a diameter of .630, and thickness is about .470.
