I just saw this on CL in North Carolina. The owner wrote he has been collecting and restoring vintage vises for well over 30 years and hasn't seen another as I recall. I've only seen one in a vintage catalog. She's a beauty !

I bought this for $10 a few months ago. I think it's original paint, but the badge is badly faded. I found a picture of an original, and much larger Stanley. It had a badge with a very similar shape and the red paint looked like a match. Any thoughts? Thanks, Shawn
