I had a similar problem with Toro when the knob on my electric blower/vac got striped out. The plastic knob has small teeth to engage a sliding speed adjustment variable resistor. You can buy almost every other part from Toro except for the wiring harness this stupid knob is connected to. Ended...

I just found a decent basin wrench while out on a bike ride. Too bad I'd just bought a nice Ridgid basin wench a week earlier to install a new kitchen sink faucet!

Not sure the 2763 works with the small, 2Ah batteries. I believe it's 3 or 4Ah XC only.

A local tool surplus place has a box of 3/8 CDI torque wrenches for $15 for 100 ft-lbs. versions. Might be worthwhile to check around or on eBay.
