    Durham Fastener Cabinet with Drawers

Wow, so you drilled through from the front. I have never seen anyone drill with that long of an extension. Did you pre-drill the holes in the back beforehand. Thanks for the help.

Concrete pure white when dry. Is there a fix?

Sounds like you had a high slump load of concrete. Excessive water will lower the strength and sometimes lead to dusting or deterioration of the surface since there was excessive moisture on the top. If it was a garage slab I would recommend epoxy after it cures to seal the surface (the lower...

    Durham Fastener Cabinet with Drawers

I have two of these Durham cabinets sold by Griot some years ago (with Griot red Drawers). https://www.zoro.com/durham-drawer-cabinet-11-34x15-14x11-14-in-307-95-d931/i/G0784235/ Right now they are sitting stacked on each other on my Milwaukee bench top. They take up a considerable amount of...

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

Found the Milwaukee 2701-20 M18 ½" Compact Brushless Drill/Driver Bare for $95.00 on Amazon. Reviews say LED does not turn off and chuck falling out are problems with this model. Any input on this?

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

I got my first Milwaukee power tool as a gift from my wife for Christmas Milwaukee 2656-22CT M18 1/4" Hex Impact Driver Kit I have used it and already love it. It replaced my old Porter Cable which never had much torque and would bog down. I'm looking for a drill now to go go with the driver...

Should I be concerned about these slab cracks & driveway cracks?

Garage cracks in the video in my opinion are shrinkage related since there were no control joints to tell the slab where to crack. The driveway cracks(pics) are caused by movement of the subgrade, most likely from freeze thaw cycles. Just my opinion from what I can see.

12 point vs 6 point sockets

I don't like Fords (sorry), I generally have Dodge products or a BMW that I play with. My wife owns a Nissan Versa that I maintain.

12 point vs 6 point sockets

It seems that I somehow have both 6 and 12 point craftsman sockets. The 12 point are from the late seventies and the six point from the late nineties (bought a carry kit with laser etching). I want to downsize what I have so it fits neatly in my socket holders. Which should I keep? Both seems to...

    Another Harbor Freight toolbox workbench

I never knew this. Is it the copper in treated lumber causing a reaction with other metals? I find it interesting that steel nails and anchor bolts are commonly used in treated lumber. Is moisture necessary for a reaction?
