    Diablo Blades

Well the pricing is actually better than Dewalt and Lenox from what I was told. They have MAP pricing (minimum advertised pricing) so they should be the same everywhere from what i was told though!

    Diablo Blades

I had a meeting with Diablo today, they have been trying to get us on board for a while. They went on and on for 2 hours about how their blades, abrasives, hole saws etc. are so much better than Dewalt, Lenox etc. I have never used any of their products but they seem t have a fairly large...

So the "missing my tool" thread got me thinking. In a previous life I was a plumber and had a lot of tools stolen, blah blah blah. Whatever, karma is a......... well you know the rest. I had a Hole Hawg that got ripped off in the event, I would kill to have that thing back. I can replace now...

    My missing tool (venting)

In a previous life I was a plumber. I walked out one day to find my entire contents of 3 lock boxes gone and 2 bundles of 3/4" copper. Copper was a no brainer, undo straps and take it. Lock boxes took some time but they got it all. Hole Hawgs, recips, bits, torches, copper fittings etc. you name...

    Under-Staircase Storage

If you have access under the stairs it shoul be drywalled. Old code required 5/8" I believe 1/2" is ok now. Typically you would have fire blocking that is in that wall located lower than the stringer. The whole idea is to save the stairs as it is a mean of egress in case of a fire. I aggree...

    Best Ball Pein Hammers

Estwing! Great company made in the USA. We made a set up of Estwing in house and have literally sold thousands of ball peens at this point. I have had 1 hammer come back in the last 6 years from being bent, I sent him a new one and have not heard a complaint.

Lineman Pliers - Channellock 349, Klein, or Knipex?

Klein! My Uncle has been a lineman for 40+ years and won't touch another pair of pliers. We are the largest Klein dealer in our territory and have been for a long time, guess we are a little biased. :D

Elevate bathroom in garage or not?

Most of the time it is left the same level. Get your rough in's right and it will not be an issue. Also think about water lines, if you are in an area that will freeze run the water lines underground, you do not want them in exterior walls or attic space! If you are running a standard toilet...

    Everyday knife??

Spyderco is 10 minutes from our Denver location. Probably one of the best companies we work with, they truly care about their product and customers. That being said I carry a SOG full auto. Unfortunettly it is getting repaired but SOG has been great as far as the warranty process goes so far...
