    Snake Oil

If he does not have the money to fix it right, either park the car until the funds become available or sell the car. I understand about money being tight but trying to hack this job is not the way to go.

    CL Snap On Transmission Jack

I have that same jack in my shop and it is a very nice unit. Rolls easy, very stable and lifts as high as I have ever needed. As noted though, that one is missing the saddle pegs but 4 3/8" x 5" A307 bolts that are threaded to the head and 4 nuts will fix that cheaply. If the jack was cleaned...

    KRSC46(to big?) vs KRSC326

You will like that cart a lot, I know I enjoy my KRSC326... By the way, you are not far from me, just hop over Monteagle and and when you get to the I-24/I-59 split, you are close.

    84'' snap on epiq

Just for the record, which company do you work for, Matco or Mac? I have over 350 pounds in some of my KRL drawers and never have worried about it. I have a comment on the hammers in a cardbord box remark though, does the cardboard stiffen the drawer enough to prevent your hammers from falling thru?

    Modis charging problem

Every Modis I have ever seen had a battery problem. Mine won't hold a charge at all and even when new, they didn't last long.

how 120 lumens sq. ft. looks

The older you are, the more light you need. I used (23) 4 bulb T8 fixtures in a 32x52 garage, 5 in each bay on separate switches and 8 for the main lights on another switch. These are 5000K bulbs also and are more than enough for a garage this size. And at night without any help from the sun...

    Snap-on CT7850 Long Term Users

I have had mine for a while now and have not had any problems at all. Just picked a CT4410 for those times when I don't need the power or the where the 1/2" won't fit.

Which ball joint press should I buy for a Ford F150?

With your student discount, buy the SO version. I had the OTC and after using a buddies SO press, I bought one and sold the OTC. It takes fewer adapters and they snap together so it doesn't take a 5 armed monkey to hold it in place and put an impact on it.

why cant i do a reply in the classified section

I voted and have no idea why more people didn't voice their opinion. They should have but then again, I don't think it much mattered the way the vote went as Ryan wanted it to change. His forum, his rules and I voted my feelings by never buying anything else off this forum.

why cant i do a reply in the classified section

Haven't gone to the classifieds in months. Felt too much like I was dealing with cyber Nazi's when I couldn't ask a question other than in a PM. I'm sure the poster of an ad gets tired answering the same question form 40 people that could have been solved with a quick Q&A in the thread.

in the market for a nice flashlight

Another Streamlight Strion LED rechargeable user here. Great light, long run time and BRIGHT. I also have Surefire and other Streamlights (including the new 350 lumen Stinger) but for all around use, the Strion is the best I have used.

I use Alldata all the time but have a buddy (Snap-on guy) that is trying to get me to switch to theirs which is Mitchel. After reading the comments here, I think I will stick with Alldata.

    Granite Bench Top

I have the piece that was cut from out countertop where the sink went in my garage and use it as a polishing plate. Glue a sheet of wet sandpaper to it and polish or burnish any flat surface with it. It also comes in handy leveling a surface with rougher grits.
