Milwaukee M18 fuel circular saw issues

I would take it back and exchange for another saw. I've had mine for over two years and never had any issues like bogging down or shutting off. Blade turns at the same rpm's no matter % of charge in the battery. When batteries go dead the blade stops, no bogging down as the charge in battery...

    Goldblatt

I don't know about pliers, but I know of Goldblatt masonry tools. They were located in Kansas City but I'm not sure if they are still there.

    A class act

A couple of years ago I used ebay tool auctions as a way to ease my winter time boredom. I remember after winning one such auction, I noticed the guy was selling an older USA made ratchet or breaker bar so I made him an offer and he accepted. Same as you, when I opened the box, I found a note...

    Bad concrete pour. Next step?

Make them break it out and use a different concrete sub contractor, one that knows what they are doing. I have been doing residential and commercial concrete for more than 30 years and have never left a job looking like that. I don't care if they were caught in the rain or had a hot load from...

    A little concrete help

Just under 1/2 cubic yard sounds right. I end up with 0.47 c.y. for one 2' dia post hole, 4' in depth.

My driveway project is a disaster..Please help...

Hillbillypimpin, I am a supervisor for a concrete contractor and have done flatwork for over 30 years. From what I see in the pictures the sub grade has not been compacted and it is definitely wire mesh, not re-bar. I am not a fan of wire mesh because it is very hard to keep it pulled up and off...

    Concrete Issue

I'm guessing that it is caused from the sub grade being too wet when the concrete was poured. Mud will float up during the finishing and ends up with little coverage on top of it. Do you remember if it rained the night before. Even mud on your boots will fall off in the pour and cause problems.

    Old craftsman box

Nice find, and a great price too. Wish I would have checked CL one or two days ago, it probably would be in my garage instead of yours.

Is There a Product for Filling Control Cuts?

First you will want to push backer rod down into the joints. It comes in different widths so you'll have to find the size that will fit tight in your control joints. Needs to be tight enough to keep the sealant from seeping around it. Self leveling sealant is probably the easiest to work with...

Safety glasses that seal on face

I found these at safetyglasses.com. http://www.safetyglasses.com/goggle.html I use them when sawing concrete paving. I wear contacts and can't tolerate dust in my eyes. A 1/4" blade on a 65 hp saw kicks out a ton of dust, but once I started wearing these my contacts stay dust free!

I would have to agree with 303 Aerospace Protectant. Chemical Guys Black on Black works great too.

    concrete drying/curing and color change

You should be good with 6 days of cure time. I would have serious concerns with only waiting 2 days on a 3000# mix. Here in Iowa, the standard strength for any kind of flatwork is a 4000psi mix, and I advise people to wait 5-7 days. The air temperature and other weather conditions determine how...
