By no means am I an expert, but it just wasn't in my budget for spray foam insulation on my post frame. I opted for the 2" vinyl backed insulation over the double bubble.. Don't get me to lyin', but I think it's like an R-6, R-10... not much at all. however, they layed it over, then screwed...

When I built my bench, the top was 3/4" plywood. I then added a sheet of MDF on top of that, screwed down. Once it gets beat up, gouged, stained, etc several years down the road, pull that sheet off, flip it over, screw it down and start again. Once that side is worn out, trash it and replace.

Well, I got the call on a compressor today... Unfortunately, family needs come before my wants, and I had to respectfully decline the offer. Hopefully one of you lucky SOB's enjoys my "almost had it" compressor! :dunno::D

So, the million dollar question is... What would the folks that do this for a living recommend? I'm looking to get a jackshaft opener, and this thread has definitely caught my attention!

I'm getting ready to do a 30x40x12 pole barn. I've got 15 2x4ft fixtures, 2650 lumin per bulb, 5000k color. And I'm still worried if it will be enough.

Just an old tractor rim, with pavers around it.. If I had to do it over, I would have buried the rim deeper, and only gone with 2 rows of pavers. When your sitting in front of it, its too high, and you only get heat from the chest area up... Another one of my typical failed projects... Lol
