    Hanson Socket Trays

Really? I have all my 1/4" sockets on Westling trays in my professional box that gets opened probably 20-50 times a day, 5 days a week. They've been in there for 6 months and no sockets have ever come off the trays other than when I pull one off. Hell, I had those sockets on that tray inside...

I'm not sure if these are the same brand as what I have but they are definitely the same sets. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002SRIWS/?tag=atomicindus08-20 http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002SRIX2/?tag=atomicindus08-20

What is your Pet Peeve about your Tools?

**** em man. At the end of the day, what matters is that you're completing your work safely, professionally, and in a timely manner. If you can do that with Harbor freight tools, who cares? We all started somewhere and sometimes the master techs like to forget that they didn't come out of...

Super deal on test lead kit

Resistors are designed by the resistance they are (60 ohm resistor, 120 ohm resistor) along with the watts they are designed to dissapate across the resistor (directly proportional to voltage supplied and the resistance of the resistor in question). To make it easier to understand, an engineer...

Super deal on test lead kit

The purpose I would imagine is for finding resistances. Sometimes, if a few strands of a wire are good but the rest are bad an ohmmeter will read good because it puts out a very small amount of voltage and amperage and the good wires are enough to allow the voltage to pass through unmolested...

What is your Pet Peeve about your Tools?

My foreman has jokingly called my matco box "gay" multiple times because it wasn't a snap-on box. Pissed me off a bit. Whatever man. Being in the field, I've seem everything from snap-on boxes that are twice my age to brand new cornwell boxes. Ive felt the drawers and latch systems in all of...

What is your Pet Peeve about your Tools?

Letting someone borrow my proffessional grade tools that I spend a significant portion of my paycheck on and getting them back covered in grease and oil. Even worse is when they set it on the top of my clean toolbox covered in grease and I get to clean both the tool and the box.

    extra long ratcheting wrench set

Yeah, both the independant and the cornwell truck carry those ratchet wrenches (in different brands) and ive only seen the 2 smaller sets in stock (maybe up to 3/4"?). They may be able to order up to 1" but I've never asked.

More tool purchases I don't believe i ever posted along with a better picture of the cornwell prybars someone asked me about. The big azz hammer and both sets of stubby ratchet wrenches came from my service writer for $200 :D That 3/8" drive IR gun is awesome. And that sunex cutoff wheel is...

Looks like the same kit my cornwell dealer carries on his truck. He isn't selling them for anywhere near the $500 the OP says they run at grainger. I think he told me around $180 when I asked. That set is geared towards light duty automotive use. I didn't purchase it because 2 master techs and...

I havent seen that post although I have used 3 different sets. This set, a set from a website called jumperkits.com, and a set from someone else that we had in school. These are, by far, the highest quality I've seen. Even the bag is rediculously thick and strong. I expect these to last me a...

They are. Purchased off the cornwell truck but they are not cornwell brand. I can ask the driver on tuesday what brand they are and for the part numbers if you want it. One bag is spades. The other is rounds. I believe it comes with 3 of each male and female. It also has a little male to male...

    extra long ratcheting wrench set

Ive never seen anything bigger. All the guys in my shop have the standard set, mainly for the 7/16" which is perfect for adjusting brakes.

    extra long ratcheting wrench set

From a professional diesel tech, every single other person on my shift has those exact ratcheting wrenches (or a rebranded version of them). They are the ****. Those will be one of my next purchases.

    Hanson Socket Trays

They are pretty nice. Well loved on this forum. My box is mostly hansen trays although I have 2 of the 1/4" drive westling machine billet alluminum trays and absolutely love them. The westling trays are at the top of my xmas/bday/whatever list [emoji14]
