    Project Garage Condo

Man, this is pretty darn cool! Any more progress? We have something similar down here in the Houston area but their price points were way too crazy for me, plus it was a bit out of my way.

    Impact Wrench

I'll tell you that people will laugh about this, but just last Friday I picked up a Craftsman 1/2" impact and a 3/8" ratchet combo set. I bought it because it was one of their 'daily stupid deals' or something of the equivalent. Anyway, I didn't expect much out of it b/c the impact is only...

Pics of my garage and shop

Man, that is ridiculously cool! Aside from the beautiful home(s) you have there, the garage is fantastically tasteful. Thanks for sharing with us! JJ PS, the license plate is world class.

    Leathermans you rely on?

****, I knew I had another. I have a Micra as well...unfortunately it resides in a kitchen cabinet and only gets used whenever something with scissors (non food related) is needed. Thanks for the reminder!

    Leathermans you rely on?

Nice, quick responses. Being a desk-jockey with a ´no weapons´policy in the office I had to put away my "Gentleman´s Folders" and start carrying the Squirt. It obviously works quite well for the quick box cut or removing screws from a computer but I really wish I could carry more muscle on my...

    Leathermans you rely on?

Hey guys, Did a quick search and did not see a subject about this. Anyway, after watching ´Cool Tools´and realizing how much I depended on these I thought I would inquire with the masses. Does anyone else rely on these regularly? I keep a Wave in the truck, a Juice in the house and a Squirt...

    mustang/ford garages

I hear you PistolWhip...while i have had a couple ´neat´rigs, I am primarily a truck guy that only a boy would appreciate...but my young daughter would totally love my wife´s past rigs, heck a boy would probably love them too. At least there are memories, could be worse!

    Garage TV's

Here´s mine, just a cheap 32 from Best Buy. Between my wife and her friends and my daughter and her friends I had to have something out here to watch sports. I just mounted it on top of the cabinets and tweaked the angle a bit for easier viewing if I have the guys over for a game and we´re sitting.

    mustang/ford garages

Oh gosh this brings back memories. Many years ago, Dad sold his 69 Mach 1 in Jade Green a week before I turned 16. His rationale at the time was that he would rather lose the car than me and the car when I wrecked it doing something totally stupid. What was the show,¨Father Knows Best¨...

    Bench Height

I have a couple different benches. One 8' x 2' x 36" and the other is 6' x 3' x 42". I'm tall (6'3") so the taller height bench gets more use overall but I use each of them depending on the project.

Big Boi, I actually have that same one for the same purposes and for what you describe your uses will be it is more than ample. JJ

    Mendocino shop coming to life

This is going to be an interesting build, so nice up in Nocal. Will be following to see how it turns out. BTW, 2 years in an RV, my kind of fun. Any pics of those digs? :)

The bluish low budget workshop..and maybe:) later the garage ..

Kjempe bra, chief! You have some expensive toys there, especially for Norway! Good luck getting into the new pad and digging the blue! BTW, which part of Norway do you live in? JJ

    My Texas Dream Garage

Oof, yes you have been very dry out there. When I drove over Pedernales River in June it could be crossed on foot and I presume it's probably worse now. It has been brutal in Houston as well with 100+ heat index since the 2nd week of June (makes sense for no heat, but a/c?) Can't wait to see...

    My Texas Dream Garage

That's going to be something! I'm trying to figure out which part of TX as well...I have a couple guesses judging from the soil and flora.

cordless tools, whats your brand, and what tools do you have.

I am like Buck. I have the Ryobi 18v with the following: Drill, impact, reciprocating saw, jigsaw, circular saw, sander, vacuum, portable fan, blower, radio and a high intensity light with 4 batteries, bench + truck charger. I seem to use something every day and the wife uses the blower...
