    i use oetiker clamps when replacing fittings on those ( hot wire feed welder tips go right thru air hoses ) they have no sharp edges and you can usually slide the rubber boot back over them

    Might be cheaper to saw cut and remove a chunk but you want to be darn sure it is not a overhead or vehicle drip .. but seems like you did your due diligence to rule that out it seems localized to the point that if it is under slab leak it is right there

    Retract the tail stock all the way ( spin it into the housing ) it should eject the taper

    There are online door spring calculators I have ordered from scratch before and got it perfect but you are right you need cables / track / maybe drums / maybe a heavier torsion bar/springs and door sections I think new may be best

    NOCO makes awesome chargers but boost boxes seem finicky across most brands I won't even buy one because I am sure the day I need it won't work or will be on the 2.5 month warranty trip lol
