We use liquid torch at work. (Castle) tried quite a few but nothing unsticks up a frozen fire hydrant as good. Some of them haven`t been used (correctly) for years and out in the extreme elements. just my .02 John

I prefer Wolverines, I believe the "sport tek" line. I work for the local water dept and have been very happy with these. I never get wet feet,and they come with composite toe or steel toe. 600 grams of insulation to boot (no pun intented) John

Thanks Paladin, that doesn`t happen often, usually just a screw driver, wrench or maybe a pair of pliers. The most expensive thing I ever found,(not counting a wallet-full of money) was a hand held scanner. John

I found a complete tool box full of tools(scattered about 200 feet down the road) about 2 weeks ago. I work for the water company and am on the road a lot. Seems I misplaced a pair of channel lock pliers a while back. I`m good with that. John
