Winch system for lawn mower and outside steps

Ok here’s my solution lol Google stair climbing trolley for the general concept of the wheeled three wheel bogey concept Now, picture a sled of sorts you push the mower into. Use a cordless drill to power it

Speed Handles --- What They Good For?

On the aircraft screw removal a ratchet adapter works well in tight areas. Also the larger the knob on the end the better, when you’re pushing hard to keep the bit from slipping out. I had one with a cylindrical handle that seemed like it was hearing a hole through my palm sometimes lol

I know you didn’t ask, but if small and quiet is important to you, have a look at fein vacuums.

Speed Handles --- What They Good For?

I have one, a 3/8 craftsman. Really good for busting loose aircraft aircraft screws. Just push it in hard and go back and forth in opposite directions and the screws usually pop loose. A oldtimer showed me this 4O+ years ago when I dragged out my screw knocker tool. On a B17 bomber no less too!

Coat/paint stained floor to sell the house

How about renting a buffer with a scotcbrite pad to clean all the paint off? I’ve had good luck with pour n restore on oil stains, as long as the oil wasn’t really black, as the carbon gets left behind.

I think when it’s in the drill, you hold one of the halves with your hand to determine rotation. My dad had one when I was a kid. Edit, this should show how it works

Drilling a bolt for a safety wire or pin

So, I had to drill few bolts like this I don’t have a drill press, so it was with a battery powered drill. I took a regular low grade nut that fits the bolt. Carefully center punched in the middle of two opposing flats Drilled undersized pilot holes on the flats held the nut in my bench vise...

    Atf stains never coming out

I had a bad stain on a concrete driveway from a leaking torque converter seal. I used pour n restore on the spot over and over until it eventually disappeared.

Anyone done a DIY wheel alignment?

I really think these fancy alignment machines fall into two categories; marketing or ease of use. If you look at tolerances for suspension mounting points (huge), needing such high accuracy to a tenth of a degree is a moot point to me. It might be a little work to do in your garage, but far...

    Vibrating concrete in small casting

I was thinking about the vacuum chamber idea, and I suppose a old pressure cooker pot could work for this. I used a mighty vac hand pump on smaller resin projects.

    Vibrating concrete in small casting

I don’t really know if this would work for concrete, or if the volume of your part is large, but one method to remove bubbles in epoxy casting is to place the mixed epoxy in a jar, and apply a vacuum to the jar. All the bubbles are removed, and you’re ready to pour it into the mold. Edit to...

    Rust converter thoughts

Maybe you could make some rust removing gel you could spray on and later wash it off. Here is one method. There are a few different t variations, it most basically add corn starch to yiur liquid of choice. PS have you considered some type of lanolin spray protection, this stops rust dead in...

Home generator - Am I crazy?

Then you came to the right place haha. I do like the idea of an indestructible engine making quiet power. Screaming generator noise is a bummer.

Need advise for neutralizing rust on a steel toolbox.

Maybe a mix of citric acid and washing soda like this post I did awhile ago. https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/threads/rust-removal-of-100-year-old-parts-with-citric-acid-bath.548402/ I started off with a weaker mixture, it might not be so hard on the paint you're trying to save.
