    Honestly, I've never seen a rotary installed anywhere. I'm thinking a new one would last the rest of my lifetime. Not sure a rotary is something you can fix at home when it gets worn

    Rotary screw is a whole different animal than piston pumps. I believe the specs just want to verify quality...

    I've had it with piston air compressors. I just can't take the noise and low outputs anymore. I just finished rebuilding my 2 car detached garage into my shop, time for a compressor. I looked at the Eastwood rotary compressors. $2k for a 9cfm scroll air compressor. Bit more than I want to pay...

    A few thoughts. I was able to buy a pallet of 2" foam sheets for about $600. Was used roofing insulation iso panels. Used under my floor, on my walls and ceiling.
