    Nonhog Garage

Well, waxing the Cougar would be a waste of time. 20 footer. I will get it safe and reliable and then after a few years of driving it w/o door ding or rock chip concerns maybe we will have it painted? Notice I didn't say I will paint it. Unless I get some relief from shaking (tremor from...

    Nonhog Garage

Recent pic. Had an issue with new washer as the delivery gorilla broke the water pipe flooding the area and destroying some sheet rock. (my luck! LOL) Hence the mess. I did remove the old kitchen cabinets and will be adding grid walls and some shallow wall cabinets. Designed some receiver mounts...

    Nonhog Garage

Bob, I have always liked the LM body style but always thought I would buy a V8 swapped car. I checked out mine and thought I should pass but having never driven one (57 years old 60 plus cars) I couldn't believe how much I liked driving it. 110 HP auto and it's so light it moves just fine. As...

    Nonhog Garage

Well I ended up doing something dumb. Bought a Corvair. The classic itch was so strong I bought a project car against my better judgement. I did really like the way the old junker drove. Been taking up 2 stalls for way too long. Hard doing stuff with 1/3 the tools I use to have. Progress is...

    Recumbents.

Really cool! Never rode one, in fact I just did my 1st organized ride in decades. (Tour de Tucson) only did 57 miles which was plenty for me! I question the balance issue? I have issues with balance and wonder is recumbent better or worse?

1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap (EcoBoosted)

Randy, let me know if you could use an extra set of hands. (one and a half if my tremor is going) Probably a couple hours away but willing. FYI wiring was the slowest part of my V8 Volvo build and it was simple compared to what you are doing. I have a few possibilities this month and next. I too...

FP415 primer okay to roll on?

For a few reasons I won't be able to spray primer on a project I am doing. I am aware of Eastwood's roll on kits but I feel they are priced way too high. Any reason I can't roll on ACME (Sherwin Williams brand?) primer. Most will get sanded off anyway. I brushed on DP40 years ago and it went...

    panel bond question's

I think it depends on how it is mated. Or where to be more precise. I think there are issues with patch panels ghosting.Which is what I'm doing.:o

    panel bond question's

have a project that needs a section of quarter panel replaced. I need to for a couple reasons to not weld it. Or very little welding. I have a flange tool and figured that would work well for bonding. So my questions are, how much should I buy to do a "section" of quarter panel? slow dry? and...

That milk truck damage reminds me of the 49 GMC I use to have, very similar damage. Looking forward to it. Heck I get a kick out of watching the Bus repairs!

1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap (EcoBoosted)

Wishing the best, wish I couldn't relate on health issues and Doc's not knowing. While cleaning out the folks house I found a few Yamaha keys (ala 1969) I'll get you a pic. Bit of a stretch that you can use one but I thought I would ask. Get better soon!
