One of my car's bulbs is out. I want to test for power at the bulb socket. When I test battery alternator for 14v, I set DVM to DC and 20V range. When you test for power, I think there is a different method? I once blew a fuse in the DVM. I think you set it for current, not voltage...

You mean the "end" of the slide pin. The head has the hex cavity. But, I think I now get it. Tool is like a claw that rattles the pin backwards and out. Didn't understand your chisel tip without a pic. Thanks though.

Still not sure how the tool works. Is it for the other side of the pin? The threaded end? Those claws just grab the threads and you pry it sideways, like you would with a screwdriver ?
