bisley45, GREAT BUY on the Gerstner! Yours has the optional Stop-Trac (sp?) system for keeping the drawers from inadvertantly being pulled completely out. I bought the same box new from Penn Tool around '93 and paid around $400. I do not have that option on my box.

The cup looks to be made from aluminum. If so, try applying some heat from a heat gun. The cup will expand more than the steel shaft and should loosen right up.
