I was thinking about buying a couple large cabinets from canadian tire, but the only thing is they have either a woodgrain or white melamine finish on them. Can they just be lightly sanded and repainted (red).Can I use regular acrylic enamel or do I need melamine paint??

If I was going to put rubber snap together tiled flooring in my shop how durable is it? I live in Manitoba with cold winters so there will always be snow and road salt in there. Also how well can it support a roller jack lifting a car and jackstands? Will there be indents in the floor...
