I was wondering if there is any way to check if there are any closed flues in my heat ducts, they are drywalled over and I can not see the shut offs. There is very limited flow at the 2 farthest points from the furnace. Or is it just the distance? Would booster fans help with heating and a/c??

I am replacing the damaged drywall in my shop with corrugated metal siding. Do i leave the vapor barrier between the insulation and the corrugated siding in place or should it be removed? I live in Manitoba Canada if that will make any difference.

I have removed the old siding from my house exterior and want to add foam insulation and then new siding. My question is ..what do I install first? I have the existing wood sheeting, then do I put up foam and then a house wrap before the siding? Or do I even need a house wrap?

it is a framed building with metal lathe and trowled on stucco. the window manufacturer says no problem to the extra depth, as the windows can be framed accordingly. I was worried about mounting the siding and insulation to the stucco,but I guess you can use concrete nails (yes/no??) to mount...

can I insulate the outside of my shop and house over top of the existing stucco with foam sheeting? I am going to vinyl side the house and want to add some insulation first, but don't want to tear down the stucco if at all possible. I will be installing new windows as well.

I have a sloped driveway in front of my garage door. Every time it rains the water runs in to the garage and against the outside wall. After ruining my drywall a few times I raised it up 4 inches off the ground. How can I incorporate some kind of drain in front of the garage without major work...

the guy from the plumbing and heating company said once he used a scope to locate the dampers in someones house and used a toilet snake to fish down and open them...sounds like fun! Is there any rule of thumb as to where dampers are located? Like say right off the main duct, or so on?
