Picked this up last week, I have been off and on looking for one for a couple years. It is a construction drill, can do line boring, drawer slide pre-drill and construction drilling. Picked it up for about a 1/5 of what they sell used for.

What do you sparkies use for insurance?

How does that work with the owners property insurance. I have done all my own electrical work, I have never pulled a building permit, but always get an electrical permit, with rough and final inspection to get the stickers(which I assume is record by the state. I assume that insurance...

    New Icon Wire Stripper/Cutter/Crimper

I wonder if they have the same flaw my Snap-on ones have, where the sliding locker doesn't really fit in the notch to keep the pliers closed. They pop open with just the movement of he drawer opening and closing a few times

    I don't want a track saw !

I used mine with an old blade to cut all my foam when doing by floor insulation on my shed build, used it for all the OSB and Plywood as well. It just makes life so easy to make perfect/straight/square cuts everytime. I have a sliding table saw(altendorf) as well and still use the track saw alot.

Reason for ISO nuts being 1mm narrower across flats than DIN in some sizes

Funny I talking to my wife about this yesterday, she didn't have a clue, but after showing her a couple fasteners she was also intrigued. Did rear brakes on my truck, and replaced the caliper brackets and hardware, the OEM bolts are M8 with 13mm head(ISO I assume), The bolts that came in the...
