Electrical Penetration-Shed with Ribbed Steel Siding

Installing Wall Pak lights on the end of my building. The wall paks are larger then rib spacing and there for will sit off the wall a bit. My plan is the make(laser cut) a sheet metal bracket to hold the light with the proper spacing to land in the between the ribs and screw into the girts. My...

T50 staple guns (not "narrow crown" staples). What are you using?

I have the Milwaukee and it works awesome. I used it for hanging all my vapor barrier plastic on the ceiling in my sheet. They did a great job of holding up almost 30lbs of plastic sheet when starting in the middle. I used the cardboard reinforcement method of stapling though the cardboard to...

    Hmmm ....

I like to spin bits backward between the jaws to make sure that I don't measure the narrower portion behind the area that cuts. Appears you are measuring it wrong. Did you measure the hole sizes it drills(don't see an answer to this). Did the bolt not fitting drive you to measuring the bit?

    New Kreg Tool Cordless Lineup

One of the blacked out tools I believe is a cordless pocket hole machine, which makes sense considering what a larger focus of Kreg tools main line is. That is the only one that seems like a game changer for the home shop, you will be able to work big panels in place with a handheld machine...

Anyone have feedback on Menard's Pro Rib steel roofing? And for a shed is it best to go with regular Pro Rib or the thicker Premium Pro Rib panels?

They they use steel or is it aluminum, aluminum is used alot for wrapping window trim etc. See if a magnet sticks to it. OP, I used the 29 gauge pro rib on the interior of my building, I had no trouble with oil canning screwing the flats, I was able to even teach my wife who is not a DIY'er...

    12,000 BTU Mini Split

I have had a pioneer WYS series for the last four summers. It cools my 1600sqft garage without issue. I installed it myself, it did require a vacuum pump for install. It has been flawless, only thing I do it clear the filters and the outdoor coil. I will say I only use it for heat to about 30F...

    menards pro rib steel

Guessing they are charging you $20 for the labor to package it and the supplies, mine came wrapped in a cover and shrink wrapped. To me it didn't seem like a bad deal. If you have multiple stores close to you check different stores. The fees were different between my 3 "local"(all 2 hours...
