    well I can tell you how hot a light bulb can get, in an insulated metal box with a 100 watt light bulb you can cook a sirloin steak to perfection in just under 4 hrs. we used to make hot boxes to cook with on big construction jobs so we could eat hot meals instead of cold sandwiches .
