    lincoln pipeliner sa200 question

I think that warning is just not to disconnect the remote while it is under power for it will arc if the engine is running. if the engine is not running when you unplugged it should not hurt anything. The switch may have been broken before you acquired the machine

    HUGE Anvil Identification Help

Good find Nine, the one I found was a Hay Budden with 260 stamped on the side. Look on the left leg below the horn and there should be a number stamped , that is a serial # and someone can tell you when it was made. Mine was made in 1902 from what I was told. like I said good find.

I don't know if it's still kosher to do this but many moons ago when I was laying carpet in apartments we didn't have a whole lot of time to be perfect on the lay. so if any bubbles or wrinkles showed up in a few days or whatever. we would take a garden sprinkler can and drip just a little water...

I need a vise and small level

Look at midway USA.com for your level. They have one called a level, level, level just for mounting scopes on rifles. one goes on the scope and one goes on the rifles flat side or one goes in the grooves for the bolt so the rifle is level and the scope can be set to match it.

    Finally found my anvil

After further cleaning I discovered what seems to be red enamel around the base, and dark bluish grey on the opposite side from the logo and weight marking. I am in the process of removing what look like tack welds on face and a couple small ones on the horn. I did have a steel ball bearing and...
