From previous posts, i have the impression that plumbing solder with a propane torch doesn't get copper pipe hot enough to form oxides. Is that correct?
The side stand on my motorcycle was short enough that it was hard for me to stand it up straight. I attached a hockey puck to it and carved the rubber down to fit. Works really well, and it was cheap. Win/win.
Automotive oil drip pans are cheap and large. I keep a couple around for disassembly to contain fluids, dirt, and small parts that like to roll off a workbench.
No need to do A2+B2=C2. As long as the shed is intended to be rectangular and the perimeter framing members are equally cut to nominal lengths, just match the diagonal measurements. It will be square enough for shed purposes. It's not rocket surgery.

If you have cut the framing to the right lengths and fastened it together right, it will be fine. Any 4x8 sheet goods will be fine for squaring it up. If the sheets don't work out being square with the framing, fix the framing. 4x8 sheets are plenty trustworthy for squaring a shed. Sheet goods...
Might not work, but sure sounds like it would be worth a try. This isn't a heavily industrial area, so the local suppliers are mostly small. But still...
Thread revival: Does anyone know where I could get a single 7'x7/8" 36 grit 982CX Pro fiber disc for a reasonable cost including shipping? Or even a 5 inch one? I want to try one before committing to buying a pack.
That is the general idea of what I'd like to end up with, although I have doubts about getting there. I'll read that thread for ideas on methods and tools.
