I think that's a contributing reason there were few amazing BF deals. The economy is good, people are buying anyway, so why discount? Case in point, I bought anyway. An M18 fuel hackzall for $105, an M18 fuel impact for $76, a HO 3.0Ah for $50. None of them great deals.

If you want to go gentle with the fasteners, and not use an impact, why not just use the clutch on a drill driver? I have a screwdriver (a Hitachi 12V) and I can never figure out when I might want to use it. It's the least used tool of my battery tools...as in...once, just to test it. Regards...
