Picked up a nice S&K 1/2" drive socket set complete with the original box for $20.00 today. Just a little wipe down and this baby will look brand new.

Picked up a MAC MB520-F1 for 50.00 over the weekend. I currently do not have a top to fit but hope to find one soon enough. Just wiped it down, everything is straight, minimal rust spots and paint is mostly intact. Does anyone know what year this was made? Im not sure what the F1 denotes.

I'm getting ready to restore my first vintage toolbox a MAC from the 80's early 90's. After I clean and degrease the exterior that has minimal rust any suggestions on the procedure and materials required to prepare the surface for the new primer and paint?
